This morning I found a teenager in my living room
… wait a minute. Maybe it was a bit longer ago ? Like, four years ??
Man, they grow FAST.
Thanks to my photographic mania, everything has been recorded, documented, and illustrated. That’s how I know it was not some random grown-up sitting on my couch this morning. It’s my daughter. Long limbs, red gold locks and all.
Let’s get photographic for a minute. The shots in this post were all taken using a Sony NEX 5N camera (which has just been obsoleted a couple of days ago by the newly announced 5R and 6 models), and 3 manuals lenses in Olympus OM mount, the 50/1.8, 50/1.4 and 100/2.8. Those are solid metal lenses, and deliver attractive image quality, in a very small package.
One thing that hasn’t changed since she was a baby is the unique relationship she shares with her dad. They’re the best friends in the whole wild world, and I have a hunch they’ll always be.
