The mistery lens…

I just made the blind purchase of a lens. Delivery pending. Want a hint ? Ok, it’s *yet* another nifty. Fast. And very, very exotic. Actually, I couldn’t find a SINGLE sample from this lens on the entire internet… Don’t beat yourself up trying to figure it out, chances are, you won’t 😉

JardinMai14-01This is *not* from the mystery lens, btw

    Hmmm, tell us more….
Exotic in which way: mount, maker, focal length, aperture, country of origin, age,… ?

Well, I was going to suggest something like the lens I was shooting with today – a 1950s Ernst Ludwig Meritar 50mm f/2.9 – but I realised they are far from rare (they were essentially the kit lens on Exakta SLRs).

Whatever it is – you can never have too many fifties, I say!

  3. Well, you need to give us a hint!!!!!

So a thin adapter on your E mount Nex, I guess…
Could be a range finder lens in M or LTM mount like the french maker Angenieux ou british Taylor-Hobson ?
    More thin… the C mount ?
